THE FACTS ABOUT SUBSTANCE ABUSE & SIGNS TO WATCH FOR

The links below go to either informational websites or documents you can read, save, and print out at any time from your own computer.  It has been compiled from expert sources within Teen Challenge International, from experts in substance abuse education and counceling, and from government souces such as the DEA and Census Bureau.  Please feel free to contact us if you have additional questions or need clarification.

If you suspect your son or daughter is using alcohol or drugs to self-medicate, rather than face the real problems of adolescence or life in general, they probably are. It is important to get strong and knowledgeable help with your real issues as promptly as possbile.  Some day a policeman could appear on your doorstep with the terrible news that they are either locked up, or dead, and then it will be too late! This is what we do, and we understand your sensitivities, fears, and need for confidentiality.  If there is a problem, and you are ready to face it honestly, you could not have a better partner in your corner, helping your loved one get you back on the road to recovery: a road to a healthy, clean, and prosperous life. We are graduates of the Teen Challenge program, so we know what you and your loved ones are going through.  We are committed helping every willing student enter and complete a full, Christ-centered discipleship program, to get their life back on the straight and narrow path.
